I never understood people who dress-up their pets. dogs wearing shoes? cats wearing coats? get real people and do something useful with the money

My daughter has three cats. One of those is a grey tabby, and is her favorite. She is always wanting to dress this poor cat up. Collars are bad enough.

I love grey tabby too. does the cat stand all the dressing-up? I mean she accepts the "clothes"?

It seems a bit unfair to them as they don't actually need jackets, I always wonder if they overheat with them on

and if you think about the fact that people spend large amount of money on such things...like I said they could do something useful with that money

Well I used to think the same thing until I moved to a much colder climate. Three of my 4 dogs are little house dogs, 2 have no real coat for warmth at all and in single digit temperatures they need something to go outside in to do their business. Now when they have their sweaters on they will leave the deck and go do their business and will even play around for a few minutes. I guess it really doesn't matter what I spend my money on to me, so long as my bills are paid and we have food in the cupboards.

yea i wondered also if they can over heat from wearing all the clothes i have even watched a smaller dog trying to get out of of the sweater or what they have put on them makes it look like a real fight to get it off i have even seen where they have their nails painted
