Reviving a childhood memory of a Circus!

Today when I woke up, a thought crossed my mind of my childhood days when we use to visit a circus. Those large colorful tents which were seen from far. Everyone used to be so exited to grab a ticket and enter inside it. The whole setup inside the tent was so grand that it seemed you are in some different magical world. What amazed me more was the gymnastics people used to do up there which made me wonder how flexible their bones are. Clowns, big balloons, Trapezes and the carnival music was such a fun.
I'm sure you all must have also had a memory of a circus. Would love to know

I went thrice to the Park Circus Maidan circus when I was a kid. The dangerous stunts, those wonderful performers from outside India, the trapeze, the acrobatics......they used to enthrall me the most.

Watching a circus live was a great fun itsel
f. It used to happen many years ago in New Delhi, however, gradually it stopped or circus is held at far flung places, which are not easy to reach.
Watching someone perform live like gymnastic, hippopotamus being fed loafs of breads by a lady, ring master making a lion dance to his tunes or clown tying to do funny tricks. All got lost in the glitz of high and every increasing multiplexes and shopping malls and there are very few open spaces left (at least in Delhi) where circus could be held.
I have found memories of my childhood, when we used to go for watching live circus. It used to be held in winters here and at that point of time there were no dish/satellite channels on TV or no mobile phones or PCs with internet.

Yes I do indeed but the main one I remember the memory is not so good. They shot a man out of a canon and it scared me so much, I was only a small child lolz
And like others here, I did not like clowns.
