Will you comment on very old discussion threads?

When I search for something just now, the search result brings out a few discussion threads from 2013. Will you comment on those old threads or start new ones?

It would only be useful if the member was active. I check the profile page to see if the person has any recent discussions. If I get a comment, I interact with it regardless of how old the post is.

That is true. I think my last post was in 2011 or 2013 before they stopped paying. Now that Mylot starts to pay again, I have returned, and hope that Mylot is as active as ever.

@scheng1 It seems to be picking up speed every day as more and more members get involved.

@Bluedoll Mylot has an advantage over any new site. The advantage is that many of us old members liked Mylot when it was paying. I think it will take time for many of old members to return.

You mean by looking at the "You Might Also Like" list? I tend not to do so, because some of these are so old that the chance of getting the discussion revived looks a little slim. Mind you, if several people are looking at roughly the same time it might be possible to get a new conversation going.

Not only that. When you use the search bar to search for topics, you might find many old discussion threads that are very interesting.

I have not paid much attention in that direction but sometimes when I see a post and I respond it happens to be an old post. For me the topic matters and not how new or old a post is.

Many old discussion threads are very interesting. That was the time when Mylot was a very active community. If you search for threads regarding making money online or blogging, you can see some threads with more than a hundred comments.

Some may not return yet. I have many threads from years ago, and I have been active on new Mylot for just one day. I do not see many of my old friends around.

I comment on old threads sometimes, but usually I just stick with the new ones. It seems kind of pointless replying to the old ones because if the members are gone, no one will reply or care about my reply.

I wonder about it. If a few people comment on old discussion thread, will the commenting revive the thread. There are some threads with more than a hundred comments.

@scheng1,I think,no discussion can be called old here.We are paid here for interaction.I would love to comment on a discussion regardless of when it was started if I like it and have something to say about it.

I have commented on two old threads just now. Perhaps this will revive the discussion. Some of these old threads are very interesting with many great comments.

@scheng1 There are a lot of old, interesting discussions. For those who have liked and commented on them, they are old,but for those who are joining the site everyday, they are still new. They can't help commenting on them.

Actually, many myLotters have left the site, and so going into those discussions may not be helpful because nobody will interact. I would not unless it is written by somebody I know who is active, or accidentally I enter into such a page.

They may return when they see that Mylot starts to pay consistently. I think the online community is quite small, and at any given time, there are only a few good sites that pay.

I do the same as @Bluedoll here, I check the latest date first.

The latest date will show 2011 or 2013. Even when I am active now, I do not go back to check my old discussion threads. I have just participated in 2 old discussion threads. I want to see if there is any more response to it, or if my response will revive the discussion.

Yes, that is a good idea. I know that there are many old and interesting threads. Perhaps we can start new thread on the same topic instead of commenting on old one.

I will sometimes comment on an old discussion thread. I like it when people find my older posts on other sites (I'm new here).

I do not know whether to say I'm new here, or I'm old here. I was with old Mylot and stopped when they stopped paying. I have just returned for a day. The current Mylot is very different from the old one.
