Making My Own Luck! / myLot

I never was the type to beleive in Luck even though some people are born with Good vibes that attracts things to do them easier. Luck to me is something that you have to influence and make so you can receive. I have wanted many things in life and not once was anything that I wanted given to me, I had to work hard and save up and even sacrifice some fun times and simply stay home in order to afford what I wanted. That to me is making your own luck, when you dont depende on chances but instead take chances and wait for the overall outcome!

Luck is what we call it when something good happens unexpectedly. If you work for your goals, it is an expected outcome, and so, not luck at all.

I can relate to this. I know what you mean. I had to work for whatever I have. I never got anything the easy way. Some people do get things easy, but not many. And besides, working for what we own is way more rewarding than just getting it handed to us.

I have believed in blessings that I have been given though hard work was also always the way with me. Now and again though, I was blessed abundantly and my ´luck´ changed for good.

very true. True luck is rare, it's all when you make use of the situations to your advantage and make a good result out of it is when you make your own luck!

I agree, you can't just sit back and wait for 'Lady Luck' to bring good things your way. Luck does play a part though, there's no doubt we are lucky to not live in Syria, for example!

Even starting a business and making good money is all about luck and hard work and starting a business that is needed. You have good values and a good outlook at life. Teach them to your children so they can have a good life.
