It Looks Like Today Is The Day,,, Finally!

On September 15, I had an eye exam and got to choose new eye glass frames. I went to an Optometrist who has his own practice. They don't prepare glasses in one hour like some of those stores at Malls do (for example: Lens Crafters). This Optometrist said it would be around two weeks for them to be ready. So, last week I learned that one of the vision people had made a mistake with one of the lenses for my glasses and that they would have to order another lens. They said it should be Monday or Tuesday of this week when it arrives. Earlier today I called and the guy said the lens had arrived and he would put it into today. So, shortly, I am going to go pick up my new glasses. I really feel like I have had to wait too long for these. I know mistakes can happen but it has been too long.

i'd rather 'em find out the error prior to me pickin' 'em up 'n that bein' corrected. i've only gotten my glasses from one'f those quick places once 'n ne'er 'gain shall i do such. 'course if'n they were in my town i might've a diff'rent view - but to need to travel o'er 200 miles round trip to get'n error correct is jest ridiculous. hope yer happy with yer choice, i'm always floored o'er mine, lol.

That's really long time. I'm from the Phils and foreigners said that everything here is slow. Maybe I'm one of the exceptions. I have no patience in waiting. But I'm trying to understand that people are used to this kind of system. So HURRY is a new word. Probably, I would move to another eye shop if that's the case. I couldn't be blind for long time.

You should get a discount since you had to wait so long.
