Apologies Are Due

Don't you get annoyed when people barge in to a site and write a post, as I did today, and then sort of disappear, spending very little time reading and commenting on the posts of others? I sort of do get annoyed about that. Maybe I picked a bad day to start. I was not working, but at the clubhouse where I live, several men meet to shoot pool at 12:30 until 2 PM, then, an hour off and there are two hours of very competitive table tennis. During the hour off, My wife took me out to a nursery to look at ground cover for an area in our yard. None of what we saw would do. Anyway, I played table tennis until almost 5, then Anne left for Tai Chi class after we chopped vegetables for stir fry that I cooked while she was coming home from her class. Dinner was ready by 7:30, we ate and I cleaned the kitchen while she collapsed. Anyway, I hope to be more attentive here tomorrow, though I am meeting an old friend for coffee, then have an acupuncture treatment for a slight hip problem. I will be around more tomorrow. By the way, I am not sure how to "like" comments, so give me a hint, please.

Hover your cursor near the bottom of the post, where the tags are, and a few links will come up, offering you the chance to like, respond etc. It's all a bit confusing for newbies, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough. And don't worry about your absence. I do that sometimes too. Real life is more important.

You don't need to feel guilty not being here James, it's pretty laid back here. You lead a very busy life, so fit us in when you can.

sounds quite a dynamic action packed day - my only experience of table tennis was chasing the ball round the floor to pick it up again when I kept missing it

Life gets busy for us all. So it's quite understandable! I've been struggling to stay afloat with everything lately. :-)

You just hover your mouse beneath the comment and the little thumbs up appears. You sound as if you're having a good time and that's nothing to apologize for! Keep enjoying life and visit when you can.

Goodness, no need to apologize. It is good to know what's going on with you and your wife.
