When we visit a city like Victoria, British Columbia or New Orleans in the states, we like to sign up for ghost tours. Its a fun way to interact with the locals and get in some history while taking a walk. I really liked Victoria at night. Quite creepy. The guide had some great stories to tell and he told it in a spooky, believable way. Have you been on a ghost tour?

I have not but I would love to. I am all about ghosts and the paranormal. One place I would like to see is the Stanley Hotel.

@sallypup Here is a history of the hotel. It is in my state here but very high up in the mountains and hard to get to for me without vehicle. It was in the movie *The Shining* very scary. It is very haunted place.

Its amazing to be on a tour with a bunch of strangers and everyone all shivering at the same time. Kind of makes us no longer strangers.

I've been on many ghost tours in St. Augustine, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia. I know they are a very "touristy" thing to do, but they are fun, and like you said, it's a great way to interact with the locals and learn the interesting history of the city and it's former inhabitants!

On one of our tours we were all gathered in a large room listening to the guide. Right outside was where folks had been executioned. I believe I made a weird sensation but who knows?
