I came accross mylot in one of my google search result looking for another social network to join, but it was a great opportunity when I find mylot, because after reading one of the search result from google then I now found out that mylot also pay for doing what you what and having fun

Yeah, I'm new here as well and learning the ropes. I think that interacting on other people's discussions more than making new discussions of your own starting out may be better starting out. But, I could be wrong. Don't really know yet, just theorizing. I'm thinking once I get more established and people are more familiar with my flavor they'll be more likely to jump in on my discussions and then we can get the party started. lol
I'm looking forward to being able to have long discussions/debates over movies, philosophy, comics, pop culture in general, but so far, the few discussions I've started have gotten little to no interaction. Then again, maybe I'm just boring and things won't improve. Only time will tell. Have fun, David.

Uhm... I would like to make one suggestion, but since I don't know you, yet, I am a bit hesitant to do that...
I am just going to take the bull by the horns and make my suggestion anyway, hoping I am not either hurting your feelings or overstepping the bounds of propriety here.... Please make an avatar for yourself. You can do as I did and adopt a picture of yourself as your avatar, you can do as another friend did and use a picture of her beautiful garden as your avatar, or you can use a picture that is Free of all copyright as your avatar.
Any of those suggestions would make you appear as a real person instead of a machine entity, which is what those green default images make me think of, instead. When you appear "real" online, you will find you make friends easier and generally garner twice as many comments/responses/iterations as you do using the default image.
Of course, this is my opinion, not the opinion of this site or (as far as I am aware) the opinion of any other person using this site. You are free to do as you choose... I do find it uncomfortable talking to/with the default image...
