Lost a Limerick While Running Around

When I got up this morning I noticed my last discussion brought in a lot of activity and from folks I'd not seen before now. I thought of writing a short apology and came up with a couple of lines for a limerick. I guess I should have written that portion down.
I had to run and get a check from a job we did on Wednesday-before my crew arrives in half an hour. When I returned I realized the limerick idea was not to be found.
Basically, though I wanted to thank everyone for stopping by, and let them know that I'll visit with you later or another day entirely. Today is a busy day for me. We are doing two window jobs, and then I need to change and get my meals together for working eight hours almost immediately after that. It may not be until Saturday or Sunday before I can do much around here again.
On the other hand, if my crew is running a bit behind, then I may be by for one or two of you afterall.

@MarshaMusselman I can never resist this type of silly comment at times.

@Asylum you can comment in limerick form on any of my discussions if you'd like. Probably if I did that too, I'd be able to peel them off more frequently without overmuch thought.

I'd say you have quite the knack for limericks yourself, @Asylum . Great job, love it.

I didn't think you wore a hat, and if you did, how would you jostle it off from between your two ears? I can't quite imagine that one,

@THeHorse I'm referring to your 'horse's ears that is.

That's nice of you to have attempted to create a limerick to add colour to this site. It is just not a limerick even ideas to post vanish if we do not jot them down somewhere

I work my one job on the weekends, but need to get a bit of cleaning done as we may do church at our house tomorrow. I'm also trying to get our business account caught up with the reconciliation. I only have Aug and Sept to do which is great for me, but I can't find a few things. They're probably under all my papers on my desk.

My running around would have made me lose limericks as well today.

I should have known better and jotted the few lines down before leaving the house.

I think the same is true there also Anna, for many took forever to reply. Certain ones like you and Janet, were daily repliers, but for many they were way behind schedule so that it seemed like we'd never hear from them again, and then, surprisingly they'd show up at our doorstep.

@MarshaMusselman So true and I am glad that here we are also paid for the interaction, I think it is not fair to be paid "only" for the comments and like that we receive. I spent hours on Bubb to visit the others, but many of them never came back to my posts... selfish people are very common.

@LadyDuck I think PP was done much the same way where both types of interaction produced revenue. Do you like this site better than that one? I never got overly involved over there and only pop in when I might be deleted.

I'll look forward to your limerick! I'm glad to see so many familiar faces here.

Don't hold your breath, Dianne. I've not a clue now what it was even about. Maybe I'll produce another sometime in the future.

@MarshaMusselman I am sure you will. Ideas disappear unless I write them down ASAP.
