Vacation is over, but it's nice to be home

Even though I was on myLot during the week, we were away in Pigeon Forge, which is only about 2 1/2 hours from here. We went for the specific purpose of eating at good restaurants and visiting friends. Since we live in that area for a few years, we don't need to do the 'tourist stuff', been there, done that!
It's fun going away, but it is even better to get back home. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed, although the bed at the rental cabin was comfy it wasn't as good as mine.
Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is hectic at this time of year. Tourists are there because it is fll break for the kids, or the craft fairs, or the shopping, or the whatever. It's always been like that and walkways will be. There is actually less traffic in the summer!
The photo (mine) is of the traffic on the Parkway (main drag) heading toward the Smoky Mountains.

I wouldn't mind a several day get away, but no money and no time, not for another 6 months or so
