good walk for Mom

My Mom did it. She's in her mid 90s. She has a trusty quad cane that helps her stay up right. Mom made it down the little hill that leads to where Peter burro lives. She grabbed some grass hay and stuck it out over the gate. Peter got over his shyness, stuck his face toward the tasty snack and delighted Mom when he tugged some free of her hand. Nothing like a silly burro to get the feet moving! I kept an eye on Mom as she propelled her way back up the slope to the house.

What's a burro? I don't know this word - is Peter a horse?

Interesting. A burro is a small donkey. Donkeys are in the horse family. Peter looks like a Biblical donkey- black stripe down his back. Peter maybe weighs only a couple hundred pounds. Big soft ears and very loud bray.
