Fear. Reality. That ground is a long ways down there. I am not young. My various issues with hips and sciatic nerve and knees rare up and scream. Yet I did it. Oh yeah I did it. I took the card that hubby gave me and I copied off the e-mail and sent a What time on Sunday do you want me over for a meet and greet with your horses? When? Just tell me when!! I am a horse addict. Just have that cutie patootie equine walk slow and steady, please. And please have a horse that is almost pony sized.

I gather it's been a while since you rode? I hope it goes well, but be prepared for some aching muscles. Good luck.

What feels like a life time ago I had a horse crash. My left knee cap moved South and so did my guts.

She answered the phone!! Around 10 on Sunday we're heading over. About 5 years ago I faced my fear and got on an arthritic old horse and rode for about twenty minutes- well, I was in the saddle shivering as we bumped up a hill and through brush. And that horse was super tall- over 16 hands.
