Thanksgiving Day Here Today In Canada

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my Canadian friends here. It will be a warm and sunny day according to the weather girl. We are going to have dinner at our oldest son's house. Other than that it will be a quiet day here. Most of the stores are closed today so there will be very little traffic.

The third Monday of October. We do the typical turkey, pumpkin pie, and other side dishes more or less like the U.S.

I would not have expected Canada to celebrate Thanksgiving because the Pilgrim Fathers never travelled that far.

Enjoy that Thanksgiving meal! Eating with someone else is always nice. No cooking and no big mess to clean up afterwards! Enjoy
