Took my kids for an outing in the new van yesterday

Since I finally have a vehicle I can drive I decided to take my kids for a fun day out. It felt so nice to get out with them and have fun.
Our first stop of the day was to a low cost movie theater. For $2.25 a person (They raised the price 25 cents since we were last there a few months ago) we were able to watch a movie called "Inside Out" I was shocked it was even still in that theater as it has been out since June. My kids and I loved the movie. I got a bunch of good chuckles while watching it.
Our second stop was party city where my son chose a shark theme for his party decorations. Then we headed to Walmart to get some much needed groceries. As we were leaving we saw the guy I am seeing (my ex) and his son. My kids told them we were going to Chuck E Cheese so they met us there.
They came by after we got home for a sleepover. It was after midnight before we all went to bed.
I have such a hard time sleeping with anyone in my bed so I laid there next to him until 4:30am until I could fall asleep.
He was going to call off work to go hunting but when he called in they needed him there and so what would have been me just watching his son for a few hours turned into all day since it was Columbus day there was no school.
A decoration on my wall that held glass votives with candles in them got knocked down and broke. Later I took them all down to the store to buy a football and my two kids started fighting so we left without anything and they had to go to their rooms for a half hour. Otherwise it was a pretty good day!
Tomorrow I will be going shopping for my sons birthday presents. I am functioning pretty well off only 3 hours of sleep last night but since I have another busy day tomorrow I am going to go shower and get to bed. I finished reading Cell by Stephen King so now I have to pick out another book to read. That was the 42nd book I have read this year.

It sounds a lovely day out Shaggin.
Glad you could do so.
That is so cheap for the movies..there is nothing like that here.
Do you read print books or do you read online?

I joked with the guy I am seeing and told him that they raised their prices and its getting a bit too costly I might not be able to go anymore. They raised the tickets from $2 to $2.25 lol It really isn't breaking my bank. When I was young the movies were $1.25. In 20 years they only raised the price by a dollar. That is awesome!
I read books in print. I have never read one online and hope I never have to.

I hope you get some sleep, I hate that feeling of being over tired. I hope this ex isn't just around so you can watch his kid. I absolutely hate people who use others.

I am wondering if you are remember my old posts is why you say this. I was with him for a year and I babysat his son for him for free all the time. I felt very used. We were broke up for a year and have been seeing each other again for a year. I usually have refused to babysit for him and he has a sitter his son usually goes to.

I am not sure how far you have to travel on your bike but am glad that you at least have that. I am not good enough at riding a bike to be able to ride it over town and carry groceries. I just walk if I am going to town. Its a mile. I don't buy groceries there unless I absolutely have to as they are so expensive. I buy them at walmart when I get there and buy in bulk.
