Mammoth / Robinson’s Press 2015 – Spoiler alerts. In 1580, the genuine, real and infamous Elizabethan scholar & alchemist, John Dee is searching for rare documents that can serve his desire to turn base metals into gold. He discovers a rare pamphlet that proves that Jesus used the Magi’s gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh in a combination formula that allowed him to fake the signs of death, enabling him to stage the crucifixion and resurrection as a fantastic hoax, planned even before his birth. A grand scale Illuminati / Da Vinci Code style conspiracy story, which is told without irony or humour. Unlikely and preposterous but very well presented nevertheless.

This sounds interesting enough to have at least a look at the trailer.

@arthurchappell I thought it was a movie. This is even more interesting, short stories to read in the evening.
