Art and Crafts by my daughter. / myLot

Hi mylot buddies.Yesterday my daughters was assigned a crafting of flower basket by an art teacher.She has to make the basket using foamy sheets.She made this in a very short period of time and what it's looking like is infront of you.Does your kids also assigned the craft projects like this?

Got no kids yet but that seems like a lovely ribbon flower bouquet.

A lovely basket! My son started kindergarten this year. He has not brought home any crafts yet other than coloring pages, or pages that he cut and glued. I've done craft project with him at home in the past, but he seems to lose interest in them very fast.

Wow , your daughter is artistic for creating that beautiful craft of flowers . I think we don't have that in my kiddie days at school . More on coloring .

@amnabas Really ! I think we also have that in my elementary days - Home Economics . We were taught how to sew and cook .

i like crafts too, we can learn craft from the net like youtube and so on. But kids nowadays tend to watch rather than do it themselves. They like to buy instead. As parents we encourage the best for our child. Everything is there to learn, given time and effort it can be done...
