What I've learned on myLot in my time here

Actually, it's what I learned at most sites like this...and applies here as well:
I learned that communication is the key.
If you want to get a discussion going, it should be an interesting topic.
A unique or catch title will get folks to open your post.
One or two sentence posts will get overlooked.
I like to see photos, so add them.
If you need help, just ask.
Mostly what I like to stress is - have fun...that's really the point of this site.

I agree that fun is the whole point. I was surprised when I learned that many religious leaders say the whole point of life is to be happy and have fun. Sounds good to me.

I think photos help, I also think having an avatar helps, it shows you are a person and not a robot
