You ever create an account then forget about it?

So I have been here on mylot for 8 years... I haven't been active for 8 years but I have been here. I created the account years ago but didn't really use it. I then completely forgot about the site. So earlier today I had been talking to someone and they suggested I check out mylot. I look up the site, seems interesting so I decided to sign up. I input my details and it says that my email is already registered... I have no memory of this. So after logging in I discover that I made an account here 8 years ago and it has been sitting ever since. So now it's time I put this old account to some use and start learning my way around the site.
Anyways, have you had something similar happen to you?

I think I have accounts all over the internet. Some I made and then did not care for the site. MyLot had a couple of years where it had different owners and most of us old time users stayed away. When it came back strong in July we flocked back and are recruiting others. I hope you enjoy it.

The site seems interesting so far. It has held my attention longer than it did when I made the account lol

Sometimes it is because I did not like a site, other times is because I signed up very late night and then forgot about it by morning. Seeing as this account is so old I'm not sure which one happened here.
