A lady that I know goes no where without a scarf draped around her neck. (I'm not sure if she jogs wearing one.) I've been with her on thrift store jaunts and burger runs, her outfit finished with a scarf. Maybe this is the lady's answer to a tie? Do you feel naked without a scarf? Do you dare leave the house without neck wear?

I collect scarves and have dozens but I rarely wear them. I did more so when I worked outside the home. I woud rather wear jewelry and I find the scarf interferes with that.

@Hatley Old time rhinestone bracelets are my downfall. I have one very blue stoned bracelet that I think I've worn to Home Depot! Just cause.

nope but I love to wear pretty necklaces and do miss it if I do n t wear one and I do get some compliments too loll ev en the men here have complimented me on my jewelery and my long hair. some women think Im nuts for wearing my hair long but others say you have pretty hair all I know is its snow white

@sallypup thanks I just feel that thel ength makes my face look more oval and short hair makes me face look lile a moon my berst friend looks great in her short hair and thinks my long hair always needs a hair cut . I just do not I like my hair long. lol

I confess I do like scarves as well, I think they make a nice finishing touch (and they keep the draughts out!) I have a large collection in silk, cotton and wool.

I think scarves are prettybut one has to know how to wear trhem and they just look silly on me as I do not have the flair to make it right.
