A cool photo I took. Any Guesses as to what it was of?

I recently saw something that under normal circumstances people would not think of as beautiful, but l gazed upon it. I was like Wow, that is very cool indeed. I took some pictures. the one I have here has not been changed only cropped (so you can not see the object it was of) -Just curious as to whether anyone can recognize or guess what it is of.
I see in this red, gold and rust scratches that look like grass and marks that look like downed tree limbs, logs and a possible pond? Do you see the same? if not what do you see in this beauty? After a few guesses I will include the picture of the entire object for you all to see.
Ps. If you are my Facebook friend and already know the answer... don't ruin it for the others... lol

It looks like a sweet potato,the red ones which has been ruined by scratches maybe from harvesting lol. Crossing fingers

it looks like scratches in a school desk - the kind of doodling vandalism many kids indulge in during lessons - quite a pretty effect though - guessing I'm hopelessly wrong with this.
