You know how most groups of (girl) friends have that bottle blonde?

Yeah I'm that for my group of friends. It doesn't matter what color my hair is I am dense, ditzy, an airhead, a stereotypical, bottle blonde. If you tell a joke? Chances are it will take me a few minutes to get it. Or.. a few days?
Somethings go right over my head and my friends just shake their head and laugh. I don't mind it, afterall once I do get it I usually end up laughing myself.
I'm also forgetful, airheady, off in my own little world a lot. Like this morning? I was sitting outside for break thinking "Gosh I'm cold." while I held my jacket on my lap. YEAH...
Totally a ditz.
Totally owning it as well.
Are you the ditz amongst your friends?

I know many of us have those "hereafter" moments. I am here, but what am I here after? Yes, I admit it.

@GardenGerty I have those more at work than anywhere else. I tend to go to the back, get one thing and forget the other thing I meant to get so I have to backtrack. It's a time consumer.

The site isn't working right for me a lot so sometimes I end up with lots of typos.

I don´t understand jikes either. I never did. I believe it´s a damaged gene, probably inherited from my German grandfather.
My husband used to wink to me when that happened with friends. I was to do a made up laugh and he would explain later on. He was a sweet: he never made fun of me.

How sweet and kind that he did that for you. That way you didn't feel left out or embarrassed. My friends just smile at me and wait, they
know I'll get it eventually.

I remember once searching the house for my glasses only to find them on my head.

You've only done that once? I'm jealous. I can think of atleast three times I've done that.
