Cleaning with bleach

How many of you clean with bleach? I have never really used bleach for much of anything. I know it's ridiculous considering I've been out of my folks house for a decade now, but I never have. The idea of using bleach on anything makes me nervous! Especially with kids in the house

I believe its one part bleach to 10 parts water and that makes a disinfectant. I have spilled bleach and gotten spots on my pants. That part is not so good.

That would be really bad for me as I only have two pairs of jeans and no old clothes to clean in!

@sallypup hahaha. I bet your. Clothes look funny after that. I have seen some people sell clothing that they've done bleach art on. Some of those end up really pretty

I've always just used a green scratchy pad and a water bottle in the kitchen. What do you use it on in the bathroom?

I use baking soda, not bleach. I do not like bleach. I think baking soda is much better for us, since it is an edible product. When we use in cleaning our house, we know that we will not suffer from any side effect.

Honestly, I never really use a thing to clean except soap and water. I never have. I think I have used baking soda on my tub a few times but that is it.

I never thought about using it on trash cans but that is actually a good idea. My trash an is pretty gross outside. Maybe I can do my first bleaching on that.

Baking soda is good for cleaning too and it's not harmful to kids. For kitchen wares and even the frige. It takes away the odor.

I definitely keep a box open in my fridge to absorb odor and I have used it on my tub with lemon juice a few times but I've never used it for much. How do you do it? Do I need to mix it or just sprinkle?

@Samanthavv Are you asking for the clothes. If clothes you put it separately from the rest and then you put the mixture of baking powder and lemon on the stains let it soak first for a day. For the kitchen wares. You soak it too. the spoons and forks for the pot just it there for a while. It's always a mixture of lemon and baking powder
