Oliver Postgate created some of TV’s most original and imaginative children’s TV shows, including The Clangers and Bagpuss. An early masterpiece was the Saga of Noggin The Nog, a strange but intriguing journey into Norse mythology with a young reluctant hero saving his kingdom from the machinations of the evil, appropriately named Nogbad The Bad.
