Scientists have determined that two very important substances are present in the makeup of a comet they observed via telescope - Sugar and Alcohol.
This has led them to believe that there are earth-like planets out there with essential building blocks of life.
Did you get that? Sugar and Alcohol are essential building blocks for life.
"These observations show a possible explanation for its (life's) origin on our planet," according to Dominique Bockolée-Morvan, astrophysicist.
Yeah, that was my first thought, too.
Time to break out the chocolate cake and the beer. It's not just good for you, it's essential.
Scientists on Friday identified two complex organic molecules, or building blocks of life, on a comet for the first time, shedding new light on the cosmic origins of planets like Earth. Ethyl alcohol and a simple sugar known as glycolaldehyde were detected

This just came up in my "You may also like" section, Anja!
I read about that comet last year and wondered when NASA was sending the shuttle up for a snack! LOL! @JamesHxstatic (29410)

Welllll... it could be. I am no astrophysicist, but evolution is the truth for me
