Today, my girlfriend and I will be doing some cooking together and share the results. One of the dish that we will be making is a huge recipe of Cabbage Rolls. It will take a while but it is worth it.
Then we will pack everything in freezer containers for later eating.
We will also be making some apple sauce. Lots of peeling apples and it is difficult for me with the arthritis in my fingers.
That will be a fun time, its more interesting to cook when doing it with someone else.

My first husband was Polish and I was taught how to make the perfect Stuffed Cabbage...which I never ate! Have fun cooking.

@AbbyGreenhill But do you like each ingredient if they are on their own?

@marlina I don't like the stuff that's inside of them!

I need to make a bunch of freezer meals, but I am just so tired and so busy all the time that finding the time to do it is next to impossible.

@marlina I have four kids, we homeschool and I work 20-50 hours a week. One thing I am always short on is time.

That sounds like a great day, I love cooking with friends. That reminds me I need to make some homemade applesauce.

That sounds like a fun way to get a lot of cooking done. The time must pass more quickly.

Oh yum...cabbage rolls sound delish. Are they stuffed with beef & rice?

What a brilliant idea. I wish more people would do that and share rather than go without or let things go to waste!

I love cooking with friends, I don't do it often but it is fun and the food tastes better when eaten with friends.

I used to make homemade applesauce all the time. It has been a while, but I remember how good it tasted!

Sounds like the perfect day. I think I may bake a cake today since it's dark and gloomy out so might as well bake. Enjoy your day

Sounds a huge amount of Yummm!
However be careful with those fingers, don't overexert yourself. I'm happy to see two friends making good food together, people nowadays don't get time to do such little but meaningful things.
