Chicken Cafreal is basically a Portuguese dish made with chicken, cilantro, mint green chilies' ginger' garlic and lemon juice. It tasted so good that they boys polished off a whole chicken. I love cooking when people do justice to the effort put in.. This dish mean a lot blending, marinating and slow cooking but was worth the effort. I love to experiment. It elevates cooking from being a boring chore to an games when I throw in some different spices or ingredients and watch it turn out better than the original. Do you like to cook? do you to experiment with cooking from other lands?

It is a delicious spicy chicken that was mostly prepared by the Portuguese colonies in the African continent. It's spicy but very good.

It does sound quite good. Yes, I do enjoy cooking, and like you said when the efforts we put in are appreciated in the form of them devouring it completely. Hmm let me see. American, Mexican, Italian.. Yeah, I guess I do, in a round about way.

@sofssu Yes, that I do. A little of this, and a little of that... goes a long way. I enjoy it, and enjoy it more when I really give it my undivided attention. Especially around the holidays. I love to create.

That does sound interesting. I'm not a fan of cilantro, but it does blend nicely with several things and I like lemon with chicken.

When we lived in New Jersey there was a Portuguese restaurant we enjoyed. The one thing I remember clearly was the bread, the best bread ever. Now my mouth is watering.

No, I don't really care for cooking. My brother loves to cook and does most of the cooking in our home. I prefer baking.

@sofssu Yes, I am very lucky. Once my kids grew up and moved out, I rarely cooked at all. I would eat out or eat frozen dinners.

sometimes my cooking experiments go worse rather than better, it has made me leery of doing too much, since money is tight and if I make something inedible, well then we still have to eat it.

@Jessicalynnt Aww.. That would be a disaster.. however, just your fear may cripple you.. I am sure with experience you may never have to follow a recipe.

I like cooking but I don't have the time or inclination to put a lot of effort into dishes that take a lot of time or preparation. I am a fast cook. I need to get 'er done. So my cooking involves a lot of cheats.

@Rollo1 I don't mind putting any amount of effort.. as long as the family enjoys the food. I guess I am so used to doing all the extra work.
