This brilliant and very funny group have sparked a huge revival of interest in the ukulele as an instrument in the UK and further afield. They tackle songs many cover artists wouldn’t dare to touch including this Isaac Hayes theme song from the 70’s US cop show series, Shaft.

They are incredibly talented and make their instruments sound like more than there really are. I believe that some of them are orchestral players in their 'real' lives and that the UOGB is a sideline and a 'bit of fun' (which of course they take as seriously as any music they play).

Great post, and after listening to some of their stuff on YouTube, now can see why there has been a revival of ukulele music. Their singing works well too, their vocal rendition of Pinball Wizard is as delightful as their instrumental version of the Ride of the Valkyries.
