Sow Some Good Seed Even When Things Are Not Too Good

Difficult to keep one's equilibrium when circumstances are topsy turvy.
Keeping a respectful calm attitude in the face of unfriendliness and misunderstanding is the most trying of all.
When you refuse to bow to a sea of negativity you can be singled out and rebuffed even more.
I like the picture of a crab trying to get out of a basket and the other crabs trying to pull it down and prevent it from escaping.
A Christian stance is definitely not the popular trend and you will certainly not hit the popularity polls!
Isaac in the Bible sowed seed in the times of famine and he reaped a hundred times more it says, than in the time of plenty.
Sow a smile or a good friendly attitude and later it will come back to you, when you really need the encouragement yourself!

Wow, nice quotations. I agree with you. Even when it's our darkest moments, it's never wrong to have a positive attitude. When we smile in our darkest moments, we can still bring joy and hope to others around us who is also having a bad time.
It's always great to know that through tough times, even if we think no one is around to comfort us, there is someone. And they are reaching out to us, so we just have to take their hand. And during their tough times too, we ought to hold up our hands for them as well. Kudos~ :)

It can be very difficult, and sometimes I fail. Because I am a minister I've noticed that at times people have taken a go at me for that reason...but I understand why and prefer to think of it as a chance to show the love of Christ to those who may have not experienced it, or have been hurt by Christians in the past. It also means that I try and encourage people even more when I see them in difficult circumstances.
