What do you think about rap music nowadays?

I liked rap back when it was known by its original name....talking blues. If you go back to the 30's and 40's you'll find "talking blues" (and listen to the rhyme scheme and meter of nursery rhymes, very much like what they call "rap") today. I especially cannot stand "hick-hop" (the so-called "country rap"). Johnny Cash did it much better and cooler in "A Boy Named Sue."

Mmmh i find them so out of topic and with no lesson to learn from them. I listen to some from local musicians and i can never understand what message they want to pass across

Do not care one bit for rap.
