Poor Mom. She did well at wearing a thermal top this morning. Then she put on a blazer jacket over that and headed into the bright morning. Temps 40 tops. Donkey and birds called to me for food. I suggested she should wear a jacket not an open garment that left her shivering. "I didn't know what to wear!" I guess the bright light fooled her. We were at the car, standing in the breezy exposed driveway by then. I headed back up the steps and into the house and brought her a padded and pretty red coat. Next up: convincing Mom that its fine and dandy and warm! to wear a hat.

It is getting slightly cold here in Washington, isn't it. I have never cared for wearing a hat.

Mom emerged from the senior center, hat in hand. She'd bought it at the thrift store there.

@marlina I'm not into hats, either. Then the cold north wind blows in and I crave hats.

Aw poor Mom,,yeah it was blowing up a storm here a minute ago and I went out to meet Mom at the car and she had gotten out and was nearly blown away..and it was def cold too.
