What popular dish around the holidays do you NOT like?

There are just so many dishes that show up mainly between Halloween and New Years that are very popular with so many people. You've got your traditional roast (or deep fried) turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce or relish, pumpkin pie, giblet gravy, and so on.
There is one dish that has risen hugely in popularity over the past 30 years or so that I just cannot stand. I do not want it. I will not eat it. I don't even want to smell it. That dish is Green Bean Casserole made with mushroom soup and French Fried Onions.
I love green beans. I love French fried onions. But, I detest mushroom soup and mushrooms. I have given it a try several times because, by appearance, it looks yummy. But, it gets in my mouth and there it sits. It takes so much effort to make myself swallow. And, that's only because I'm usually where I can't spit it back out. But, I have tried to eat it. I really have. I don't even know how it got started or why it became so popular.
I've been thinking of maybe trying it one time made with cream of chicken soup, which I like, to see if I like it that way. Have any of you tried that?
I also will not eat pecan pie, stuffed mushrooms (see above), calamari (or any tentacled seafood) or giblets. Now, I do like giblet gravy, but I usually leave the actual parts out of the gravy and just use the water they were cooked in. The cats enjoy their turkey treat instead.
So, how about you? Do you have a food that is popular that you won't eat or don't like? Why?

I never liked cream of mushroom soup, either, so I always substituted cream of chicken soup.
I can't stand pumpkin. I like the spices (in fact, Bigelow makes a "pumpkin spice" tea that is out of this world) but not pumpkin. So no pumpkin pie, no pumpkin loaf, no pumpkin anything, thank you.
I've also never understood the attraction of this can of crrimson jello-looking stuff called "cranberry sauce."
And, as I'm allergic to pork, I skip the ham.

And people still like the casserole? Personally, I'd rather have my green beans with butter and salt, but I'm willing to try anything if it makes everyone content. I have a friend who won't eat pumpkin, but who loves sweet potatoes. I think it's kind of funny because to me they taste the same in the same recipes. I'll have to look for the pumpkin spice tea. I like the coffee, but never heard there was a tea. I LOVE cranberry sauce - I like it with gravy on it. LOL Wow - allergic to pork? Holy bacon!!

@jerzgirl Yeah, allergic to pork, seafood, lamb, and beef...or as a friend of mine said, "Maybe it's easier if you tell me what you can eat."
The Bigelow pumpkin spice tea is available (here, anyway) at Wal-Mart; and, if they don't have it, you can order it directly from the Bigelow web site. (It's not the best tea they make: IMO, that goes to white chocolate obsession tea!)
I understand what you mean about green beans, but, to me anyway, cooked without seasoning or anything they're rather bland. I think that's why a lot of people think they have to spruce them up. (Come down south, where we cook them within an inch of their lives with ham hocks or some other meat seasoning!)

@FourWalls That is the way I grew up eating green beans. Cooked until mush - usually with ham and potatoes. I still love that one pot meal. And, that's beans from the garden. Although, I have discovered I enjoy veggies that are roasted or grilled. Usually, I don't care for any raw texture, but those are pretty good. So are battered and fried green beans.

I've never heard of the dish you're talking about but I'm bettin I'd probably like it. What I don't like is turkey, I can take it of leave it and tho it won't make me ill I'd still prefer chicken.
Yeah, I'm with you on the tentacle dillys, they're so repulsive as food.

Green bean casserole? Wow - I thought that was a universal thing. I sure don't know who started it, though. Or why. My dad liked chicken more than turkey - he said he was glad he only had to eat it twice a year. But, he LOVED the skin that got super crispy. And his mother loved the tail (the part that went over the fence last). Anything with suckers - not gonna happen.

I have a friend who makes it every year and insists on me having some. It's just so sickening sweet. I think it is like a loose fruit cake (if you've ever had them - they use dried candied fruits and people joke about using them as bricks). But, I like the fruit cake better because I can slice it and spread butter on it. But, I don't like super sweet anything.

I don't like pumpkin pie, but I make them and everyone loves them. I also don't like fruit pies or any cooked fruit.
