This two movies are the greatest war movies i have ever seen.. My eyes became watery after watching both of this films.. In most war movies you'll get this kind of feeling. The Pianist, a master piece of Roman Polanski, an awesome performance by Adrien Brody as the pianist, A Great movie based on the life of Wladyslaw Szpilman and on the other side, Schindler's Lists, One of the Best Spielberg Movie, featuring Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler, The man who proved Humanity exists when the world is at war. The Incidents are quite well portrayed on these movies. Well I just don't want to explain it, just want to know have you seen these movies? Which one you like most? Tell me the name of the Best war movie that you seen and why do you think it's best..

I have watched both of these movies and they are very classical and great for sure. In fact there are also some new war movies and they are not bad at all, such as La Rafle. I cried badly when I watched this movie. La vita è bella is also a movie which kept me dropping tears. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a touching movie, too. And a war movie based on the true story is extremely moving.

@sparial02 La vita è bella is a famous Italian movie. It is just not as new as La Rafle and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

@sparial02 Yeah, when you said you didn't watch Life is Beautiful, I felt strange because it was a famous movie. If you even had watched La Rafle and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, it is impossible for you not to watch Life is Beautiful

I liked both these movies the same really. Do you recall the old war movie called The Great Escape with Steve McQueen?

Schindler's List is a great movie!! But I will say when it comes to warfare movies, Black Hawk Down comes to mind!! It's about Americans going after a terrorist and the assault on the city!! A thrilling movie indeed!! Braveheart is excellent too!!

I remember how traumatizing Schindler's list for me. Everything is in Black and white except from the color red and we known where does the color red came from on this movie. I remember a certain character, a little Jewish girl in red fur coat. This character have no lines and dialogs but the scene where her corpse is on a pile of other corpses scarred me for life. It makes me realize how awful racism and discrimination is.
