Heavy on the breakfast

What is the heaviest breakfast you ever had? I wonder because I like breakfast a lot. Sometimes I can chow down four scrambled eggs, three or four sausage patties, two or three biscuits with gravy, some bacon, hash browns and more. I don't do it often, just now and again.

Sounds like my breakfast this morning. I had two scrambled eggs, two biscuits, gravy, apple butter, two small sides of grits and hash brown casserole. Plus two cups of coffee. I was really hungry when I got to the restaurant and my friend didn't want his grits, so I ate his and mine. LOL

@mrdprince I was born in SOUTH Jersey, but discovered I liked grits on a trip to Savannah. My mother always had them, but I would never try them until several years ago. Pity I missed so much for so long. But, I eat them sweet, not savory. Haven't tried a savory version yet to know if I like it.

Sounds like you were born in the South but I see your profile has you in New Jersey. That's cool.

I normally have a very filling breakfast before leaving for my work since I carry just a sandwich or a snack for lunch. Recently we had gone for a holiday to a Jungle resort where the main attraction was the local food. The breakfast was Buffet and covered in the room rent..It was an amazing spread of Indian and Continental dishes, fruits and desserts and we really had our fill knowing that we had a very active day ahead of us..never ate so much in my life ..

I hate to say this, but, when I go to vcisit people in the hospital, I always enjoy my time there because I get to eat breakfast there and it is delicious. I see everyone else order small amounts, but I pile it on.

Your stomach must feel overloaded all day with all that food.

Amazing appetite! If I eat all of this, I won't be able to eat anything else for the day. But I do love a good poached eggs for breakfast.

Your comment reminded me of an old girlfriend. She was the same way. Which was great because she had such a lovely figure.

I love eating a really big breakfast but I never do it now because I don't like feeling heavy and bloated the rest of the day.

I would think that being Irish that you would work it off right away. I have always known the Irish to be very active people.
