are you caring for a aging parent or know someone who does? I never gave thought to my parents getting older they were my protectors and lifeline as I was growing up. now that im a adult they are getting older and need care or a little help sometimes. I know its a part of life but its hard seeing them as feeble

Are you? We've fostered my Mom- 94 now- since June. Having her here with my hubby and me has tested our marriage. Imagine having a 94 year old dependent and see what I mean. My Mom turning into a kid is hard on my emotions and mind. I hate having to help her more than she helps me though mostly she gets around pretty good, I have to be the one who ensures she goes out with gloves on, hat and where is that cane, that purse? On and on. I love her being here and yet it is hard. She wants out and plans to be living with a sister this Spring cause she thinks she will be more independent over there.
