As some of you already know, I cycle to work and back each day, which means I cover 100 miles a week on my bike. All this cycling keeps me nice and fit, but when I first started cycling I realised that this times could be used to help me learn new things.
It was at this point I had a brain wave, why not listen to books I have always wanted to read, but not had the time while I ride! So off I went and signed up for a well know audio book service and started to learn while I peddled.
This use of my cycling time, some ten hours a week has been revolutionary for me, I have learned so much and of course kept fit at the same time. Until I ran into the problem of having so much dead time while I cycled I had never though of listening to books, but now I listen while cycling, walking and running. I have to say it is just awesome keeping both the mind and body fit and healthy all in one go.

That is a very good idea. What sort of books are you listening to while you ride?

I have not tried listening to books in a long while. I was not very adept at paying attention when I tried before.

So you are multitasking. lol My fiance also is into listening to books while driving. He's into graphicaudio. It's books that's sound like movies.

i hope you are careful though, since your attention is now divided and the roads are dangerous
