More on the saga of my Ebook. So I got it out there...published but then I went to research how to promote it. Many forums say use your website and social media, so I did. I wondered if there was anything else I could do, so I read up on two types of promotions. The two main ones are 1) to make it free for a while, with the reasoning being, more eyes equals a greater possibility of the elusive "review" and 2) a "count down" deal. Since it was my first book I did not want to just give it away free ...yet...since I wanted to test the countdown deal. So my book was listed for the whopping price of $2.99 initially. Just kidding, that is considered a low price. The countdown deal let's you set steps, within a week to start in my case for 99 cents. Then it "counts down" till it goes to $1.99 and again back to $2.99. There is actually a clock that is ticking on my page. For example, I just took a screen shot and there are 6 hours to snap up a read at the bargain price of 99 cents. The theory is people who are on the fence, may just hit the "buy" button. Also there are special features of books that are in a countdown, so you get more exposure. Think about it. If the book went viral and a million people decided to hit that button...well..just kidding again, but the math is pretty simple. I will keep you posted and let you know how it goes. That's all for now from the world of e book blow by blow.

I am sure there are those people who do sell a million. Seems though a well placed e book even at 99 cents total price, if it had an ongoing audience, could make money for the writer. Thank you for that kind wish! @Marilynda 1225

Thank you @jaboUK. Before I took the leap I tried to read the tutorials and things but it is different as you go through the process. I figure like a test flight, try all the promos and such on this one....and see if it flies so to speak. I will keep everyone posted as it rolls out.
