A lot of people say turn the key and put the car in drive and that is how it works. Well you have to have an engine, fuel pump, transmission and suspension, gear box, cooling system, steering system and how about some tires along with numerous other components. Do we have any mechanics out there can explain the whole thing to us?

I don't drive - I have helped change a tire on a car but that's all. Cars are like computers to me - I push buttons and stuff happens.

It seems a lot of people are like you push a button and the car starts but have no knowledge of what makes it start or stop.

@Marcyaz it might as well be magic pixies for me - people have tried to explain combustion and mechanics to me but my mind just melts over it

Great that you have someone who get repair your auto and you don't have to go somewhere and pay their high prices.

Very simple explanation--you join AAA or another automobile company and you never have to worry about any of those things!!
