why won't people give up

Why wont people give up on the B site? I just cannot understand this fixation. I never write discussions on this topic usually, but I have read so many posts about the site in the last few days that it bothers me a bit.
The site is dead, even that poor 'unknown' has gone.. The bells have rung.. the date of the funeral is yet to be set.
Sorry I don't mean to be be mean, but let's just get on. The owners are too self centered to do anything about that site we all so loved to bring it back to life again.
Let's mylot. Live in the present and enjoy it.

Yes, it is also my question. 
Well maybe they can't just give up the money in their bank so they keep working for the elusive payout.
I just visited the place to delete again some of my articles and I saw one of my good friend there has just started a discussion and she even commented on my old post. How could they still be that patient to work in such kind of site! I think I will comment on her post just to invite her here. I hope it won't get deleted.

My personal reason is I'm close (about $8.50, or, the way things are going, about 6 1/2 years 
) to cashing. Another reason is people made friends there, and it's hard to give those friendships up.

@FourWalls Hope they pay you.. I have no mails from any of them till now. I might as well forget it.
I have friends there too.. which was the only reason for me to even keep the account.. But now even my friends have stopped posting.

Friendship i can understand and i am so so glad i met with B people here who were my friends there. It made me feel at home faster

I just go over to delete and pull articles. I dont want my account deleted until I get all of the stuff I want out of it first.

I was never active on Bubblews, even when mylot was not revamped. I did not like the site, though I posted some articles. There was no interaction as such and users used to post anything and everything on the site. For me - mylot is best and it will ever remain best for me.

@dpk262006 Their random actions made me and a group of my friends to leave.. I just came back after they revamped the site. Arvind has his head in the clouds.

I have not been there in ages. I know that lots of people are very close to cashing out and they want their money. I can understand wanting the money.

@sofssu But you have a choice to move away from such posts. I too feel the way you feel. There are such great posts here but hardly anyone reads them but these kind of posts are swallowed with relish.

Yes, I agree with you. The constant talk of it is growing old and its negative, which isn't fun. What I find amazing here is the fact that the very people who seem to complain the most about it are still posting over there. I do pop in every week or two to see if there's any news that might help me in my case, but my trips are becoming less and less frequent.
We should all pack up our thoughts on that site and move on now while we write on this site.

@Juliaacv Now this is what I call a practical outlook. its time to move on.
I haven't been there in ages.. I haven't been able to delete my poems there.. I just couldn't get rid of them even after hitting the delete button. .. I spent a couple of hours there now doing just that. I am happy to have cleaned out and taken out my most valuable stuff.. There are so many posts left behind.. but that is okay.

I deleted all buy my last bubble over there. It took me a while to make the decision to quit because I liked the people over there and didn't want to lose them. Finally enough had left, that I started to look elsewhere. Most of those that were still writing there were also here, at least those that I closely followed, so the decision was easier to make.

I am one of those who still stick with Bubblews. But, no, I am not waiting for a payoff because it might happen 5 years from now. I just want to visit the site every now & then & say hi to my dear friends there. If it finally sinks, then I have no reason to be going back there. I am too glad because I found here a lot of my dear friends in B too.
