Kidney Stone!

This past week I experienced my first kidney stone, and it's a pain I don't wish on anyone! It started when I was driving to work, suddenly the most awful pain hit the right side of my stomach. I kept driving for about 5 minutes but then I had to pull over, I ended up having to call 911 to send an ambulance to get me to the hospital. They tried giving me morphine in the ambulance but it did nothing for the pain. Once I got to the hospital, I spent the next 4 hours laying in a bed waiting to be seen. Once I was finally back in a room, two doses of different medications didn't work. I realize now the doctor probably got my urine sample results back - which clearly show it was a kidney stone - but he came in and sent me off to get a CT scan. Surprise! One 4mm kidney stone. I was able to go home, but the next two days are a pain and Percocet filled blur. I NEVER want another one of those things!

I have heard that that, and gallstones, are just the worst. Percocet makes me see things a little bit. I hope you are able to avoid this in the future, but I guess some people are prone to them.

I hope this was a random thing and not showing me I'm prone to them.

My wife and our oldest son had their gallstones removed. It is a one-day surgery.

I went thru this one year right before Christmas - I was so sick burning up then the bleeding started and he pain stopped. I went to the doc the next day - ultrasound showed 9mm stone I was sent right off to a urologist who decided it had to be blasted. When in the hospital and in a few hours bye bye stone - but it was a rough two weeks after. Several years later I passed a stone, which in comparison didn't hurt much at all. So you still have your stone?

Always drink water, have a water therapy, and take Virgin coconut oil...it cleanses our kidney...My sister's kidney stone just removed itself during urination after consuming 1 bottle of virgin coconut oil.
