What do you do when you find something in your drink?

I just finished drinking a big glass of water with ice in it. I say I've finished because even though the glass is not empty, I won't drink any more. That's because when I picked up the glass to drink this last time, I noticed something in the bottom of the glass. It's little white things that look like some kind of crystal - I have no idea what it is. Would you be put off by seeing something unexpected at the bottom of your glass? After all, if you've already drunk most of the contents, what difference will finishing the glass make. If it's going to poison you, you are already poisoned! But I don't think that way. Even if I got down to the very last sip before seeing something at the bottom, I wouldn't drink any more. What about you?

@jstory07, I used to live in Boulder, so I'll still claim you as a fellow Coloradoan. Thanks for commenting.

Was that store bought water or tap water? It sounds like you could use a microscope about now. I hope you are okay. And to answer your question: little white crystals might not bug me too much but something like a bug, I'd spit out what was in my mouth and possibly gag.

@sallypup, I have to admit that despite what I said above, there have been times when an insect landed in my full cup of soda and I just picked it out and kept on drinking.
