My daughter doesn't like to sleep with me

My daughter is three years old,a child at this age always sleeps with the parents,but my daughter likes with her grandma instead of with me.This makes me unhappy.Is any idea to attract her to get back?
Does the baby at three years old sleep alone in ur country?

I think kids of any age should sleep in their own beds.

Agreed. It is most unusual and a little suspicious for a three year old to sleep in the parents bed.

@shirlys Hum, I think the marital bed should be for the parents...but if that's the custom in your country.....

My children started to sleep in their own rooms before they were one yearof age. But that doesn´t happen in all the families in my country. In some families, it depends on the customs, in others in whether there is room enough for them to sleep alone.
When my 2 daughters were small, they slept in the same room as we did not have a room for each. When we had a biggerhouse, each of them had their own room.

I suggest that you do not force the issue. Normally grandchildren have a special place in their heart for their grand parents and this you must allow.

In my country, 3 years old child usually sleep with their parents, but if their parents work at outside throughout the day and the child always with their grandma, I think it is normal, because they fell comfort with their care giver. Do you work at outside an leave her with her grandma?

@shirlys I think it is a consequence of your job, you leave your daughter, so she prefer sleep with her grandma. Take it easy, try to invite her sleep with you by give her a funny story before sleep or invite her for playing some games before sleep. Hopefully, she will go to sleep with you...

@srisahara Thanks for ur seggestion.She loves to read story book, Yesterday I borrowed some books for her.This morning she asked me to read these books for her when she got up,but i refused ,i told he I would read the story for her if she sleeps with me this tonight. Hope i could win her heart.
