How could I bring back my old friends?

Today I replid to one of those posts "you might also like". The post was some years old and in the answers I found several old friends from way back then.
I checked some of them and some were still mylotting. Others, nevertheless, have not posted here since 2013.
Do any of you know how can we call them back? Is there a way to send them a mail telling them to come here again?
I miss them.

Theoretically, if you reply to an old post of theirs it should still send an email notification to them. This is provided, of course, that they still have that email address and that their account notification settings allow email notification.

I hope that works as I replied to a very old post of one of my best friends. I hope they (husband and wife) return.

When we had left mylot, I had tried my best to stay in touch with as many I could - over Facebook. There were many recommendations to opt of Bubblews but somehow, I never could muster the courage to join there.
So when they restarted at Mylot (Paying), I sent out some PMs to those who were on my FB list. Some of them returned back but most of them are yet to show up. Unfortunately, most of those who returned found the Newer MyLot more confusing and taxing (as the new interface is a little tough and needs patience to learn - remember we came in to the newer version after we had got ourselves tuned to the earlier version). and left, I miss them a lot.
I even tried contacting friends of those who went inactive at Facebook but I failed on that part too. I also sent some emails to friends and some of them are around.
Oh yes, it was hectic searching for people outside MyLot as most of them had wiped out all their info here. I got one contact on FB and that had opened doors to reach out some others.

I do remember you from the old mylot although I don´t use FB much. Fortunatly your old username @thesids is by tha new one 008 .

@marguicha My handle(thesids) and the avatar (Casper) are still the same from the older version. And the 008 came in after I had thebusysids as two friends pointed out that I was too busy to read and respond to their discussions. The 008 came in from another dear friend who suggested that I should help her find something. And I do have a couple of instances where the new friends were confused by my changing the Name.

see if they have accounts in the same names on Bubblews, Facebook, Twitter etc. or if you have e-mail addresses for some of them

When you respond to an old post I think an email will automatically be sent by myLot.So naturally,if they have the same email then they can come back if they wish to.Please see the comment by @GoAskAlice
