Take a breather, have a coffee or a snack, sit back and view the lovely snapshots of the Fair Cape from my last travels - I have tried to give you more of the outdoors than the indoors. Whale watching - they are close up. Protea's in all their glory - Forna and flora are magnificent in the Cape. The beautiful Table Mountain that stretches all round the False Bay to Gordon's Bay as blue as the sky. Strange rock formations that look like ET - not the one that looks like me. Beautiful French architecture in the small coastal village of Hermarnus. Wild edible nastershams growing on the rocks along the shore line - just a feast for our eyes. This one is especially for @garymarsh6 who always makes me yearn for more traveling everytime I read his posts or see his pictures - I was born to travel and I cannot wait for the 12th December when I take the wheel and venture down to the Fair Cape to show the New Yorker what we are all about.

I will have to show your slideshow to The Man. I think all coastal communities are picturesque, there's nothing quite like being near the ocean.

I loved this slideshow, I like the coastal communities. I would like to travel without moving from my chair. I know it's weird, but it's how I feel now.

Your friend from New York is going to love the Cape. I loved all the pictures, however those penquins stole my heart.

there is a full penguin sanctuary and you walk among them and see their nests that are right next to the sea rocks - you are obviously prohibited to touch or remove anything. Its absolutely a must to see down in the Cape.

The Cape is my favorite - I am not into Big Game animals but rather seaside and flora
