Inappropriate advertising on ebay

I was just browsing on ebay for an audio book. Many years ago when I left my old job I was given a set of cassettes of Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner as a leaving present. It’s a dramatization featuring Stephen Fry, Judi Dench and Sandi Toksvig which I love. I listened to it over and over – and then the girls came along and we all listened to it over and over again until some of the tapes completely wore out so that the spools keep jamming and in places there is just mumbo-jumbo. I managed to replace The House at Pooh Corner with the same version on CD but for some reason couldn’t find Winnie the Pooh.
Now I just thought I’d see if anyone on ebay happened to have an old copy in any format and I did manage to find a few, but then when I scrolled to the bottom of one page I was surprised to read one of those irritating ‘You may also be interested in:’ messages and a recommendation for ‘Teens; the end of innocence' with a cover photo of a naked girl fondling her breasts.
Surely this is not appropriate for someone browsing children’s stories?

It is inappropriate but you do have to be 18 to have an ebay account so technically anyone who shouldn't be seeing that type of recommendation shouldn't be seeing that type of recommendation, if you catch my drift.
Not saying it's right but from a legal perspective that's probably the get out of jail free card!

Oh and to add to the mystery, I've just been sent three separate emails from ebay in three different languages (French, Spanish and Italian I think) asking if I'd like a second look at an item I have never looked at before. This is a bit worrying.

Regardless of whether you have to be 18 or not, not everyone 18 and older wants to view such material and may be offended by it. Especially people who are browsing through Winnie the Pooh. I would send an email to eBay, telling them that their suggestions are not appropriately placed.

I've been on ebay before and had some questionable adverts come up - I think there should be better monitoring of all adverts and the pictures they show to the younger audience. Is there a way you can report the advert to eBay directly?
