Tonight I drove the dark county roads. Hubby wanted some time off from the family drama so I took him over to a buddy's house. Just a tickle. Just a rain tickle on the windshield. The temps were above freezing. Just those drips on the windshield made me quite aware that any day now I could be steering the car over ice. I'm counting down to the days of real frost and ice. I'm shivering and counting down to those mornings of white knuckle driving.
