Today I will book and reserve the room in advance. And I like to book from Agoda and Ctrip. It depends on which one can give me a better price. In fact Booking is also a good website to book a hotel, and it can cancel your reservation anytime. But its price is also a little expensive than other Agaoda.

I usually book directly with the hotel. I check the deals first and then I discuss the price with the manager.

I often wonder whether it may be much more expensive than booking from a website like Agoda.

@youless I believe that it depends where you need to book. If the hotel is not far from my location, I prefer to call them directly and make a deal.

I know Agoda. Even, I have become its affiliate partner. It is a good site for booking room. It is cheaper than other sites that provides booking a room service.

@youless Yes, it is simple to be affiliate partner of agoda. You are only need to have a blog or web and join to the site for being its partner.

I prefer Yatra.com and makemytrip.com. Have not tried others. And, of course, I use TripAdvisor for looking at options and deciding on the location and hotel.

Agoda is a good site for booking hotel. if you use it once, you will accumulate points to offset the next booking. I have not used it for myself, but I have helped my bosses book hotel rooms using Agoda.

But the accumulate points may be valid within one year only.

I do not use those sites for booking. I go directly on their hotel website for booking.
