Bubblews is gone, what's this mylot all about?

So I discovered yesterday that Bubblews was gone, finished, over with... whatever you want to call it.
To be honest I checked out of the bubblews hotel awhile ago, when writing got you no where, after actually being able to make money, then not making anything.
But I seen today on FB (facebook) about this site.
I am very new here and excited to see what this is all about.
I met a few very nice and interesting people I now consider friends on bubblews, so hopefully this adventure is a new path for me.

This is a far far different place than Bubbs was, you will get paid here and you don't have to beg for the money.

@AbbyGreenhill,'Beg.' That's exactly what we had to do in Bubblews and our several complains and requests would fall on deaf ears.

Welcome to MyLot! What's it about? Well, it's a discussion site, rather than an articles-with-comments site, so it's sort of superficially something a little like Bubblews was. It pays, too, but the payment structure is a little different in that what you earn depends on how many people interact with you and that, in turn, depends on how you interact with others. Clear? Well, never mind! You'll soon get the hang of it!
Unlike Bubblews, there are no limits (except common sense) on how many discussions you can start or how many or how few characters/words you may use. Minimum payment is $10 and it happens automatically once a month. It's also quite easy to make payout every month.

A lot of Bubblews refugees paying MyLot a visit. A significant part of this community here spent time on Bubblews myself included. I don't think you'll have any trouble fitting. @Owlwings writes a good orientation and the link is already on this discussion for you.

Welcome to mylot, hopefully you enjoy this site and make a good discussion. I am sure you will find best friend here, knowledge and money as well. But, about the money you can't get the money like in bubblews. This site is very tight to count our earning, but this site is legit...

@ivyparkgirl Congrats! You will be paid in December 2015. I don't know whether I will hit the minimum payout in this month? I have no much time to stay longer here. My little daughter ask me more attention.

Well you should feel right at home here because quite a lot of people that were on BB have joined mylot. Many have kept their old user-names so you will hopefully be seeing some familiar faces around the site. The MyLot old hands have made us feel very welcome, and most people have settled in and feel right at home. Enjoy exploring the site, there are lots of lovely friendly people on here so I think that you are in for a lot of fun.

Most of Bubblews is now here anyway and the site is not so different, other than you do get paid, one of the main differences.. you don't get paid for posts, only reacting with and reactions to, yours and others, so you do need to flit around some.
