I Need To Come Up With A Rescue Plan

Due to the escalating costs of our house extension it looks like we are going to have to cancel next years holiday, which was a cruise up to Norway to see the fjords 
Although I am yet to phone the holiday company and officially cancel the trip, I am pretty certain that it will have to happen unless I can come up with a magical plan to find £3,000 by the end of January. Yes there are credit cards I have access to, but I am not a debt fan and although we had saved the money for the trip, that has now all gone on the house.
I guess you can not have everything in life and when one door shuts another one opens, so if the Norwegian fjords trip goes I am sure something else magical will take it's place.
If any of you guys have any suggestions I am all ears

That's a shame that you have to forego your holiday. I don't really have any suggestions unless you have something you can sell to help add to the funds.
