Christmas Saying for Ornament

Have you considered giving homemade ornaments as gifts this year? What a better way to show someone you care about them than to give them something you made with your own little hands. I do a lot of cross stitching and making a pattern for a saying is super easy. Pick a saying you like. Make sure you stitch it in backstitch and back it with a Christmas fabric. Use a ribbon as a hanger and voila you have a super easy handmade ornament that someone will love and appreciate for years.

@HazySue The whole commercialism of Christmas annoys me. It shouldn't be a time of great expense and everybody stressing out. Although it can be stressful trying to get handmade gifts finished and ready in time.

@JudyEv I agree. I make gifts as a way to show I care. I do buy a few gifts but I am mostly a homemade gift type of person.
