The Contents of a Woman's Handbag

When I was hunting through my handbag today I was reminded of the saying that the state of a woman's handbag reveals the state of her mind! I am sure a man must have coined this statement but I was curious enough to see how mine checked out.
I had a purse, a biro,a pencil, a set of keys, tissues, a small notebook, a cough sweet, a lipstick and my driving licence. Since a survey earlier this year revealed that the average bag contains 25 items I reckon mine was fairly empty. It contains all the essentials I need but it is untidy.
I reluctantly concluded that maybe there was some likeness there to my mind, which is full enough for me to get by but the information is haphazardly stored.

My husband always jokes with me and asks if the kitchen sink is in my purse too. Lol. I do have a LOT in my purse. I'm a mom, I can't help it. I have things in there "just in case" the kids need something.

I think with children there is no way you can avoid having a full handbag.

When moms have small children they really need a trolley rather than a handbag because a handbag is meant for a woman's use not all the family as well.

I am sure that your mind is not messy at all, you probably change it more often than you change your handbag.

Hmm, sounds like we have much in common, except that I have cough sweets and you have chewing gum. That is probably an age difference.

Some women would not go out without such extras in their handbags.

Now you have left me to wonder why you are looking in men's wallets? Perhaps you could share some of what you found, just to make me feel better.

Mine does the same thing, I suggested that he got himself a man bag but he would have none of that!

How about the number of bags a woman takes with her anywhere she goes . . does that tell also about her state of mind? My wife, even just going to attend Sunday mass, takes with her a minimum of 3 bags . . 1. her bag containing her personal stuff. 2. another bag, usually bigger than her personal bag . . it contains paper towels, tissue papers, etc. 3. a plastic bag or paper bag containing a pair of shoes, slippers, etc. . . I even joked her to take
also her suitcasel
